Direct Wellhead Measurements for Well Testing in Harsh Economic Environments
In today’s economic environment with increased well performance key, too many wells are without well testing instruments or face high CAPEX/OPEX costs from test separators. Operators need greater well performance and alternatives to well testing. Due to costs, many wellheads have no instruments and only track well performance sporadically.
During Emerson Exchange this year, Emerson’s Chad Jordan will be leading a session that takes a closer look at a smart multiphase metering alternative compared to test separators. This alternative measures accurate flow rates direct from the wellhead (eliminating the need for dedicated test lines and test separators), reduces CAPEX/OPEX and increases well knowledge. The flexible, compact solution can be installed on individual wells and in previous inaccessible areas and is particularly suited to unconventional fields where margins are tight.
To learn more about this session and solution, make sure to register for Emerson Exchange. If you register for Emerson Exchange by August 31, you can save $400 off the regular conference registration price.
