Now that Emerson Exchange 2014 is finally here, it’s time to get excited. Hopefully, everyone has booked their hotel rooms and scheduled their flights. Once those are out of the way – it’s time to start scheduling your time. Don’t know what to do once you are there? Here are a few things we recommend checking out:

  • Micro Motion Tweet Chat – On October 7th from 1 to 2 p.m. EST. Make sure to hop on Twitter and check out the hashtags #micromotion and #emrex for some exciting news! I can’t give away too much information, but we are launching a new product at this event and we’re excited to tell you all about it.
  • Google Hangout – We will also be hosting a Google Hangout to discuss our new product. This will be a live event where we will interview our product manager. This event will take place on Wednesday, October 8th at 1 p.m. EST. Make sure to use the URL to see the interview live!
  • Usability Testing – In previous years, Emerson has done usability testing for some of its brands, including Micro Motion and this year is no different. Monday through Wednesday (at specified times) Emerson will be conducting another round of usability testing that you can sign up for. And for each test that you participate in, you will receive an entry to win an iPad mini in a class 1 div 2 case.
  • Workshops and Short Courses: Of course there are always a ton of courses you can attend — in fact, this year there are more than 400. One great white paper to look out for is “Using Structural Integrity Meter Verification to Track Corrosion in Coriolis Flowmeters,” you can find additional details here.

We’re looking forward to seeing you next week and hope that you take some of our suggestions into consideration. If there are specific workshops or other events do you plan on attending or, that you’re looking forward to, let us know in the comment section below.
